Kevin grew up in Michigan and is the most recent addition to Swedish First Hill's Family Medicine Residency Program. He grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and attended Detroit's Wayne State University for his undergraduate and medical school education. Although he initially promised himself to avoid any obstetrical care at any costs he ended up focusing on maternal care in his residency training at Oakwood Annapolis Family Medicine! He eventually attended Swedish First Hill's OB Fellowship and headed back to his training program to help them start their OB Fellowship. Eventually, Kevin made his way back to Seattle and became faculty in 2010. His particular interests at the program include maternity care including offering cesarean delivers, women’s health, reproductive health and LGBTQ medicine.
Kevin truly believes that Family Medicine is the premiere specialty where we can care for patients from birth to end of life. We can truly bond with our patients and their families to provide them full scope care. He is excited to work with such an amazing group of staff, faculty, fellows and, of course, residents. Working with a residency program keeps him on his toes where he hopes to learn from our amazing residents as much as he tries to teach them!
