OB Fellowship Application Information
Swedish Family Medicine/Swedish Medical Center's graduate medical education program is affiliated with the University of Washington Family Practice Residency Network and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The fellowship is not accredited by the ACGME as such accreditation is not available for obstetrical fellowships.
Requirements
Applicants must obtain an unrestricted license in Washington State by the beginning of the fellowship and have completed a 3-year ACGME-accredited Family Practice Residency and obtain an unrestricted Washington State medical license and DEA by the beginning of the fellowship. US-licensed physicians who graduated from Family Practice programs in the UK and Canada are also eligible.
Swedish Medical Center does not sponsor Visas.
To apply for the fellowship please gather the following:
1) Curriculum Vitae
2) Letter of support from your program director
3) Two letters of reference (preferably one from a family practice physician)
4) Personal Statement
5) Medical school diploma and official medical school transcript
6) USMLE scores / COMLEX scores

We are accepting applications for the 2019-2020 academic year as of June 2018. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must have completed a 3-year ACGME-accredited Family Practice Residency and obtain an unrestricted Washington State medical license and DEA by the beginning of the fellowship. Complete applications (including two letters of recommendation) will be accepted until September 1st of each year. Interviews will occur in October and additional interviews will be scheduled if all 5 spots are not filled. Applicants should have their applications completed by September 1st to receive full consideration. We will continue to take applications until all positions are filled.
