Liz was born at Swedish Hospital in Seattle and raised in Edmonds WA.  She has lived elsewhere, but prefers the rain, mountains, and water in the Pacific Northwest.  When she isn’t at work, she is outside running, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, or stand-up paddle boarding.  She has a teenage son, who reluctantly participates in some of these activities.

Jesse Zayas Medical Education Coordinator Pronouns: (He, Him, His)

Jesse was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in El Paso, Texas. After enduring the desert heat for a decade or so, he moved back to New York for school, where he majored in Inter-Cultural Studies at Nyack College. In the years following, he worked in education/public relations at Planned Parenthood, and a violence prevention crisis center in the Hudson Valley. During this time, he co-chaired committees on the NYS LGBTQ Inter-Partner Violence Network, who worked with lawmakers and community agencies around the state to make a safer environment for the LGBTQ community. Jesse moved to the Seattle area in 2019, and although is no longer allowed to jaywalk, he has come to love and adore the area. His hobbies include advocating for social justice issues, hiking, kayaking, spending time with his two dogs, visiting the beach, knitting, cooking, bonsai trees, meeting with other nature lovers and experiencing the outdoors, paint & wine nights, road trips, karaoke, aikido, and trying new foods.


Jon Dela Cruz Medical Education Coordinator Pronouns: (He, Him, His)

Jon was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. After attending Oregon State University and majoring in Exercise & Sport Science, he decided to stay in the Pacific Northwest because of its natural beauty and cultural diversity. He is a former health coach with a passion for health & wellness. In his free time, Jon likes to stay active by playing in softball & bowling leagues and has recently taken up pickleball. He also enjoys attending Mariners games, taking his French bulldog for walks around Alki Beach, and trips back to Hawaii to spend time with family.”
