MISSION

To train family physicians to serve local and global communities through exceptional patient care, leadership, and advocacy for health and social justice.

VISION

Led by our communities, we train Family Medicine physicians to provide adaptable, equitable and full-spectrum care across all environments

VALUES

Compassion: We seek to hear and honor each person’s story and journey.

Justice:  We collaborate to break down systems of oppression and discrimination to achieve equitable and holistic health. There cannot be health without achieving justice.

Excellence: We train Family Medicine physicians to be skilled in providing evidence-informed care with a broad array of skills to meet the needs of their communities. We share innovation and endeavor to never be resigned to complacency.

Dignity:  We offer our skills to affirm each person’s autonomy and support the lives they choose to lead.

Integrity: We hold ourselves accountable to our communities through transparent communication and humility

Safety: We foster mutual trust, vulnerability, and appropriate structural support. The intersection of education and health demand both psychological and physical safety.
